Name

Name is displayed in the First Last order. The name is generated from the ARES/Testudo system.

Directory ID

The Directory ID is a unique ID that may be used by various systems as the login userID. For those systems that use the Directory ID as the login userID, you must use the Directory password, which may be set at the Change Password Page. Examples of applications that use the Directory ID and password are Corporate Time, webCT, and BlackBoard.

Display Email Address

The Display Email Address is the address displayed by the Directory. Everyone in the Directory has an email address of the form ID@umd.edu. Mail sent to this address is automatically forwarded to the Mail Forward Address.

Mail Forward Address

The Mail Forward Address is the email address maintained by the ARES/Testudo system. Mail sent to DirectoryID@umd.edu is automatically forwarded to this address. This address may not be ID@umd.edu.
